A lifetime spent
asking why.
Amy Farahay, E-RYT 500, created The Noble Yogi Method™ from more than twenty years of movement education, coaching, studio leadership, teacher training, and hands-on assisted stretching.

Before yoga, there was gymnastics.
As a gymnast and later a coach, Amy became fascinated by the difference between performing movement and truly understanding it. She saw that strength without length could limit an athlete, that generic warmups often missed the smaller supporting patterns, and that two people with the same complaint could need completely different approaches.

Movement became a puzzle—not a performance.
Yoga taught Amy to observe breath, compensation, guarding, balance, and the nervous system. It deepened her belief that movement must be accessible, personal, and connected to the whole person—not reduced to whether someone can touch their toes.

The same pattern kept appearing.
Clients would arrive pointing to one place, but the story often began somewhere else. Back discomfort connected to the hips. Shin complaints connected to the calves. Limited rotation connected to the glutes, chest, or shoulders. The more Amy observed, reassessed, and listened, the clearer it became: effective assisted movement requires more than a memorized sequence.
Athletes
Lacrosse players, runners, golfers, gymnasts, and active adults seeking more efficient movement.
Everyday Clients
Parents, office workers, teachers, and people who simply wanted to feel lighter and move with less restriction.
Movement Professionals
Teachers and practitioners who wanted to understand what they were seeing—not just apply more techniques.
The world did not need another stretching certification.
It needed a way to teach practitioners how to observe, communicate, assess within scope, make thoughtful decisions, and empower clients. Noble Yogi brings those pieces together in a practical system rooted in curiosity, safety, reassessment, and education.
The principles behind the work.
The body tells the truth.
Breath, guarding, facial expression, and compensation provide information that words sometimes miss.
Everything is connected.
The location of discomfort is not always the origin of the movement pattern.
Observe before intervening.
Curiosity creates better decisions than assumption.
Safety comes first.
The nervous system, client feedback, consent, and professional scope guide every session.
Education creates confidence.
A client should understand more about their own movement after every experience.
Independence is the goal.
The work should empower clients—not make them dependent on constant sessions.
