The Noble Yogi Method™

A proven routine. Adapted to every client.

The Noble Yogi Method™ is a hands-on assisted movement system. Practitioners learn the same clear sequence, then adjust the session based on where the client feels tight and how the body responds.

A Clear, Repeatable Method

The routine stays consistent. The session stays personal.

Every practitioner follows the Noble Yogi sequence and makes small adjustments based on the client’s comfort, tightness, and feedback.

A Simple Starting Point
Start with where the client feels tight.

One client may feel tight through the hamstrings. Another may notice stiffness in the hips, shoulders, calves, or back.

The practitioner listens first, then follows the Noble Yogi sequence in a clear order.

As the session continues, the practitioner adjusts positions, pressure, timing, and focus based on what the client is feeling.

The Noble Yogi Philosophy

A clear routine with room to adjust.

Noble Yogi gives practitioners a repeatable sequence while teaching them how to respond to the person in front of them.

01

Listen first.

Ask where the client feels tight, stiff, or limited before beginning the session.

02

Watch for comfort.

Breath holding, bracing, facial tension, or pulling away can mean the intensity needs to be reduced.

03

Adjust as needed.

The sequence stays the same, but the practitioner changes the position, pressure, or timing based on the client’s response.

The Noble Yogi Sequence

Every session follows the same clear order.

The sequence gives practitioners a consistent starting point. The focus changes depending on where the client feels the most tightness or restriction.

IT Band Begin by working along the outside of the leg and noticing how the client responds.
Hamstrings Move through the outer, middle, and inner hamstrings with clear client feedback.
Glutes & Hips Continue through the glutes, piriformis, inner thighs, hip flexors, and quads.
Calves Finish the lower-body sequence by working through the calves and ankles.
The Five-Part Process

A simple process practitioners can follow every time.

The method stays consistent while the session is adjusted for each client.

01

Listen

Ask where the client feels tight, stiff, or limited.

02

Follow the Routine

Move through the Noble Yogi sequence in the same clear order.

03

Adjust

Change position, pressure, timing, or focus based on the client’s response.

04

Recheck

Return to the area or movement the client mentioned and notice what feels different.

05

Educate

Share simple stretches or movement ideas the client can use between sessions.

The 3-5-7 Method™

A simple way to talk about intensity.

The 3-5-7 scale helps the practitioner and client communicate clearly throughout the session.

3

First sensation

The client first begins to feel the stretch or assisted movement.

5

Working intensity

A moderate level where the client can still breathe, relax, and speak comfortably.

7

Strong edge

A strong but manageable edge. The practitioner does not push beyond this point.

Noble Yogi never chases a ten. The goal is not to force more range. When the client’s five begins to feel like a three, the area has started to relax and the practitioner can gently continue.
What Practitioners Notice

Client feedback is more than a number.

Practitioners listen to what the client says and also notice signs that the stretch may be too strong.

01

Breath

Holding the breath or suddenly breathing faster may mean the stretch is too strong.

02

Face

A tight jaw, closed eyes, or a tense expression may show discomfort.

03

Head & Shoulders

A lifted head or raised shoulders may mean the client is bracing.

04

Feet

Feet may turn, grip, or shift when the client is trying to avoid the position.

05

Guarding

If the body tightens or resists, the practitioner can pause, reposition, or reduce intensity.

06

Shaking

Shaking may mean the position is too strong or the client is working too hard.

07

Voice

A change in tone, delayed answer, or nervous laugh can be a sign to check in again.

08

Shifting

The body may rotate, lift, grip, or shift to make the position easier. The practitioner adjusts when this happens.

Every Session Begins Here

A routine from start to finish.

Each session follows the same order and is adjusted based on the client’s comfort, tightness, and feedback.

01

Listen

Ask where the client feels tight and what they hope to improve.

02

Notice

Notice comfort, breathing, and how the client responds.

03

Follow

Follow the Noble Yogi sequence in the same clear order.

04

Adjust

Adjust position, pressure, and timing as needed.

05

Recheck

Recheck the area or movement the client mentioned.

06

Educate

Share what the client can continue working on.

07

Empower

Offer a simple stretch or movement plan for home.

Stories From the Table

What clients may notice after a session.

These examples describe individual experiences. Results will vary, and Noble Yogi does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Repetitive Movement

The runner

Professional Scope

Knowing when to refer

Not every concern should be handled in an assisted movement session. Practitioners are taught when to stop and refer the client to a qualified healthcare professional.

Clear Professional Scope

Noble Yogi does not teach practitioners to diagnose or treat injuries.

Practitioners learn a hands-on assisted movement routine, how to adjust the session based on client feedback, and when a concern is outside their professional role.

Listen

Ask where the client feels tight, stiff, or limited.

Follow the Sequence

Use the Noble Yogi routine in a clear and consistent order.

Adjust Safely

Change position, pressure, and timing based on client feedback.

Know When to Refer

Stop the session and refer out when something is outside scope.

Why Amy Created It

Years of asking one question: why?

Amy Farahay’s movement education began as a gymnast, continued through years of coaching, and expanded through more than twenty years of yoga, studio leadership, teacher training, and assisted stretching.

Her experience in the assisted mobility industry showed her the value of hands-on movement work. Her yoga background taught her the importance of breath, body awareness, communication, and meeting each person where they are.

The Noble Yogi Method™ grew from those experiences: a clear routine that can be taught, repeated, and adjusted for the individual client.
