The Noble Yogi Method™

Find the why behind movement.

A premium, in-person movement assessment and assisted mobility certification that teaches yoga professionals how to understand the body—not simply stretch muscles.

Private studio trainings led by Amy Farahay, E-RYT 500. Continuing education approval is in development.

Movement Intelligence

The body is always communicating.

Pain, tightness, restriction, breath, guarding, and compensation are all information. The method teaches practitioners how to listen.

Our Philosophy
Most people treat where it hurts. We ask why it hurts.

Someone arrives saying their back hurts. The answer is not always to stretch the back. The restriction may involve the hamstrings, hip flexors, glutes, calves, breath, posture, daily habits, or an old compensation pattern.

The Noble Yogi Method™ teaches practitioners to look beyond the symptom, connect the body, apply assisted mobility with intention, and reassess what changes.

The goal is not temporary relief or long-term dependence. The goal is greater awareness, improved movement, and practical tools clients can use for themselves.

What Makes It Different

This is not a collection of stretches to memorize.

It is a framework for learning how to observe, think, respond, and teach.

01

Understand Why

Begin with the client's experience and investigate the relationships that may be contributing to the restriction.

02

Restore How

Use breath, positioning, feedback, and assisted mobility to create safer and more effective change.

03

Transform Movement

Reassess, educate, and help the client understand how to support their own movement beyond the session.

Connect the Body

Restriction rarely exists in isolation.

The place someone feels discomfort is not always the place the problem began. The method trains practitioners to notice the larger movement story.

01
Listen to the complaint

What does the client feel, when does it happen, and what movement is affected?

02
Observe the whole pattern

Notice posture, breath, guarding, compensation, range of motion, and movement quality.

03
Apply the sequence

Use structured assisted mobility while monitoring tissue response and client feedback.

04
Reassess the original concern

Return to the movement or complaint and identify what changed.

The Method

Six steps. One connected approach.

Practitioners learn a repeatable process that supports observation, decision-making, assisted mobility, and client education.

01 / LISTEN

Begin with the person.

Understand the complaint, goals, history, habits, and current experience.

02 / DISCOVER

Look for the why.

Identify possible relationships, restrictions, and compensation patterns.

03 / CONNECT

See the body as a whole.

Consider how one area may influence movement somewhere else.

04 / RESTORE

Apply assisted mobility.

Use positioning, breath, feedback, and graduated intensity with intention.

05 / TEACH

Explain what changed.

Help the client understand the body rather than simply receiving a service.

06 / EMPOWER

Create independence.

Provide practical movement tools clients can use between sessions.

Why I Created It

Built from experience, not theory.

My background includes more than twenty years in yoga, movement education, studio leadership, teacher development, gymnastics, coaching, and assisted stretching.

Over time, I became known as the person people came to when something hurt or movement felt limited. I kept seeing the same truth: the place that hurt was not always the place that needed attention.

Those observations became a repeatable framework for listening, assessing, applying assisted mobility, reassessing the original concern, and teaching people how their bodies work together.

The Noble Yogi Method™ is how I am turning that experience into something tangible that other practitioners can learn, use, and eventually receive continuing education credit for.

Founding Studio Opportunities

What could this become inside your studio?

I am beginning conversations with a limited number of studios interested in hosting The Noble Yogi Method™ and creating a premium private movement service for their community.

No obligation. The first step is simply a conversation about your studio, your team, and what you want to build.
