A Simple, Soulful Marketing Plan for Your Fall YTT
Summer is blooming, and while the days are full of sunshine and movement, there's a quieter invitation starting to emerge—the one that asks us to look ahead and prepare for the grounded, intentional energy of fall. If you're running a Yoga Teacher Training this fall, now’s the time to start laying the foundation—both for your students and for yourself.
Whether you’re leading a foundational 200-hour training or diving into a deeper 300-hour journey, what you put in motion now will shape the experience your future trainees step into.
Start Planting Seeds Now for a Meaningful Fall
Running a YTT isn’t just about your syllabus or your sequence plans. It’s about creating a space where people feel safe enough to transform. That kind of magic doesn’t just happen—it’s something we build with care and clarity, long before anyone walks through the studio doors.
Here’s how I like to begin my June prep:
Clarify Your Intentions
Take a moment to ask: What do I really want my students to leave with? How will this training support their growth—not just in teaching yoga, but in life?
Revisit Your Curriculum
Pull out your manuals. Can you infuse more seasonal practices—like grounding sequences or autumn-themed meditations? If you’re teaching advanced trainings, now’s a great time to update content around the business of yoga, leadership, or online presence (your future teachers will thank you).
Reconnect to Your Why
Why do you teach YTTs? What are you really sharing beyond asana? June is a beautiful month to remember your purpose, anchor into your message, and let that clarity guide how you show up—both in your marketing and in your teaching.
A Soulful, Doable Marketing Plan to Fill Your Fall YTT
You don’t need to become a marketing guru. You just need to be consistent, honest, and rooted in service. Here's a simple plan to stay visible and connected through the next few months:
JUNE: Awareness + Storytelling
Share your personal journey. What sparked your path? What has teaching changed for you?
Post weekly reflections or trainee stories on Instagram or to your email list.
Host a casual Info Night or Open Practice—virtual or in-person—to give people a feel for your vibe.
JULY: Value + Visibility
Share short videos (Reels or IGTV) teaching something from your training.
Highlight your co-trainers or guest faculty—build connection and trust.
Add testimonials or little behind-the-scenes moments to your socials.
Partner with local wellness businesses for cross-promotion.
AUGUST: Urgency + Enrollment
Offer early bird pricing or bonuses like a coaching call.
Start a countdown—“3 reasons why fall is the best time for YTT.”
Reach out personally to those who’ve shown interest. Keep it real, not salesy.
SEPTEMBER: Nurture the Now
Begin onboarding your new trainees.
Show sneak peeks of manuals, training spaces, or curriculum.
Keep sharing calming, grounding practices—help your people settle into this next chapter.

One Last Thing
You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be present. People sign up for your trainings because of you—your energy, your voice, your intention.
